Plot synopsis: A separated mother and daughter—one a lowly mute slave, the other now a high-society lady—search for each other by sending hidden messages through "culinary dishes" amidst a string of murders that shakes the capital. But their inevitable reunion forces the daughter into an impossible choice: side with the mother who gave her life, or save the man she loves from becoming the final victim.
