Plot synopsis: Catalina Chamorro, is a woman who rejects every wooer interested in her. The matter would not be important if it were not because, according to an old promise of love, Catalina's father, Pedro Chamorro, refuses to give his youngest daughter, Blanca, in marriage until his oldest daugher has married.
