Plot synopsis: What begins as a seemingly innocent hookup between two young men quickly turns enigmatic as Mark and Jeremy grapple with their insecurities, dark pasts and relationships to love in a time of transactional sex and irresponsibility. A subversive queer parable, LIAR is a stylish, intimate drama that aims to crack open conversations around consent, queer suicide, ghosting culture and the cost of vulnerability.
